Marvellous Monorail

On the 24th of February the Year Six’s went to Living Springs for a school camp. We got to do many marvellous things including the Monorail.

My favourite was the Monorail, because it was so fast it felt like you were free falling off a cliff ,but the horrible thing about it all was that you had to carry your cart all the way up the hill to the top of the monorail, which took forever.(well we didn’t the adults did)

All the parents had to carry the carts so after it they were exhausted but still it was thrilling and exhilarating I hope I can do it again. 

bonkers bridges

We are learning to problem solve as a team
For S.T.E.M had to make a bridge that could hold two books out of some sticks and some rubber bands. It went well because we worked as a team and got it to hold the books, our creation was crosses rubber bannded together . our next step is probably to work quicker and decide on a creation first.

super sand dunes

Today we did a class trip at new Brighton beach and learnt about sand dunes and how they are important to us. The way sand is made is by rocks on the mountains eroding by the rain and hail, then they come down with melted snow, and  in the river then into the with the waves and onto the beach. The way sand dunes are made is the wind blowing and making them.  we also had to make a sand dune
